If you be my honeysuckle, I’ll be your honey bee…

Lately I’ve been on an out-of-character country music kick, and my new favorite song is “Honey Bee” by Blake Shelton. {If you haven’t heard it, I highly recommend :)} But more importantly, I’m loving this honeybee themed wedding shoot featured on Style Me Pretty! Event Designer Lauren Ledbetter and Photographer Brooke Boling worked together to create a simple and sweet wedding shoot that has too many details to even talk about. Please visit the full post HERE for more photos and the vendor guide.

Blueberry Mojitos

Mojitos are one of my absolute favorite summertime drinks, and adding a special blueberry twist to the mix makes them even more delicious on a long, hot day! This recipe from Eden of Sugar and Charm (a fabulous blog for everyday hostesses…I feel like she and I would be friends…is that weird?) is so simple and yummy, I envision taking some with me on a picnic. Extra points for serving them in mason jars :)

Rustic Beach Wedding

While surfing around Green Wedding Shoes the other day, I stumbled upon a real wedding that looked pretty familiar. It was a wedding I had assisted at in Huntington Beach last summer! Katy and Chad’s special day was shot by the talented photography team of Erin hearts Court and perfectly exuded a casual coastal charm. Visit their blog for more pictures.

DIY Glitter

Why? BECAUSE YOU CAN.

Preheat the oven to 350.

Place salt (table salt/sea salt) into a small bowl.

Add drop of food coloring and mix with the salt.

Spread mixture onto a baking sheet in one layer.

Bake in oven for 10 minutes.

Let cool, then transfer into a storage container for use.

Throw some glitter, make it rain.
